It’s a solid phone. I had an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I guess I just expected more. Not as much of an improvement over older models as I would have liked

The display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.27 inches (iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro), 6.55 inches (iPhone Air), or 6.86 inches (iPhone 17 Pro Max) diagonally. Actual viewable area is less.

Like the phone so far. Verizon customer service is horrible. Spent over six hours on the phone attempting to get our phone activated. Very disappointing. Could not understand why agents had such a hard time realizing two phones were ordered on a single purchase. No return box was included with second phone. Took another hour getting a return label.

Great phone but the new bottom side button for photos is annoying. It’s very easy to hit when showing someone else your phone or just grabbing it in general. Id love if you could just disable that button through software config screen.

The phone is a little heavy for its size. Not a big fan of the camera button on bottom right side of the phone have to shut it off especially if you keep your phone in your pocket it’s too sensitive but otherwise it’s just like every other iPhone made from 13 up.

I had told myself that since I had the iPhone 16 Pro Max I didn’t need the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but after comparing the two, specifically the camera, I realized I definitely needed the 17 Pro Max. I am so in love with this phone (I haven’t felt this much love for my phone since the iPhone 8 Plus).

Will this be considered a trade in when I owe on my phone just bought in May this year? Will I be charged for my phone or will you do swap?

You can upgrade your phone if the balance is at least 50% paid off. In order to use the phone for a trade in you would need to pay off the remaining balance on the current phone and if you have any promotion credits on this device they will end as well. You can also send back the current phone to cover the remaining balance of the current device, but that will also end any promotional credit you are getting.
