Thanks for your feedback. To minimize e-waste, we consciously choose not to include a charging cable in our packaging. You can use any standard USB-C cable to charge your JBL Grip, as well as a power adapter compliant with the USB-C standard. Past products already have standardized USB-C cables, which can be reused for new products.jbl.com Originally posted on jbl.com

JBL GRIP Compact Portable Bluetooth Speaker FAQs
captgoodhope . Oct 18, 2025
Does it have multipoint, connect to 2 devices at the same time?
Thanks for your question. Our JBL Grip does not support multipoint connection, so it can not connect to two devices at the same time. However, it does support multi-speaker connection through Auracast, which allows you to connect two or more JBL Grip speakers or other JBL Auracast-enabled speakers together.

I can’t figure out the chargers. Which one do I use for the Grip and where can I get it?
Thanks for your question. You can use any standard USB-C cable to charge your JBL Grip as well as a power adapter compliant with the USB-C standard.

Can the Grip group with non JBL speakers that support true Auracast?
Thanks for your question. Our Auracast-enabled speakers are currently intended to be able to receive Auracast signals from other Harman products. While they may be able to connect to non-Harman products, we can't guarantee full compatibility.

Dose the auracast work with partyboost

I'm interested in the New JBL Grip ! I need a wireless speaker that would fit into a cup holder on the dash of my UTV. Will this speaker still sound good if the bottom of it is sitting in a cup holder ?
Thanks for your question. The sound performance of our JBL Grip can vary slightly depending on how it sits in your UTV’s cup holder. If the cup holder is fully enclosed and the speaker rests deep inside especially with the passive radiator facing downward, some bass frequencies may become slightly muffled, as the low-end vibrations are contained within the enclosed space. For optimal sound, we recommend positioning the speaker so it sits above the rim of the cup holder, allowing the sound to project freely.
