How to secure your My Verizon account and device
Worried that someone has accessed your mobile device or account? Here’s how to secure them and take control back.
Did you lose your mobile device? Are there signs that someone has accessed your account without your permission? If so, secure your device and confirm (or change) your My Verizon account information quickly to make sure that you—and only you—have access to your personal information.
Here are step-by-step instructions for measures you can take immediately , from changing your password to confirming that your account details haven’t been changed without your knowledge.

Change the Password to Your My Verizon Account
Go to https://ghostdev.shop/a%3E.%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp%3EClick Sign in at upper right.
Select a password delivery option, then click Send Password.
A strong password is at least 10 characters long and uses a combination of letters—both upper- and lowercase—plus numerals and symbols. Never use the same password on different accounts or websites.
Change Your My Verizon Security Question and Answer
On your device:
On your device, open the My Verizon app.
Tap the Account tab at the bottom. If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.
Tap Edit profile and settings at the top of the screen.
From the Security section, tap Manage security question.
From the “Want to switch questions?” screen, tap the dropdown icon, then select a question.
Tap the Answer field, enter your response to the selected question, then tap Update at the bottom.

Confirm Your Verizon Account Details Are Correct
Check your name, address, contact email and any approved users on your account.

Enter your 10-digit mobile number or User ID, then click Continue.
Check your phone for a notification, and, when prompted, select Allow access.
Tap the Account tab at the bottom. If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.
From here, review your Profile information, plus your Preferences and Security settings.
Check Your Account Settings for Voice Call Forwarding
Dial *73 to turn off Call Forwarding on the line you are using.
